- Krakow, Poland 1939 to 1945
- The Krakow ghetto covered sixteen square blocks
- It was populated by approximately 20,000 Jews
- Jews were forced to work in labor camps and some were murdered by mobile killing units
- Oskar Schindler saved 1,100 Jews who would have died
- Oskar used his charm to get to know who he needed to know
- Schindler made a metal factory and hired Jews to work for him. He saved people who were writers, teachers and attractive women to work for him
- The workers did not get paid but he gave them food and kept them alive
- Schindler was married but he was not very faithful to her
- Amon Goeth was a SS officer who enjoyed killing people for fun
- Schindler spent all of the money he made on his workers who were supposed be transferred to Auschwitz and be killed
- He fighted for every one of them and saved them
